Say YES to jute bags & NO to plastic ones

The quantities of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are mounting to unprecedented levels due to human activities. All this is causing the depletion of the ozone layer that extends protection from the sun’s strong rays. Having said that, the Earth’s surface is registering high heat levels which is causing the shrinking of the glaciers and increasing the sea levels. These factors are, in turn, heightening the risk of catastrophic flooding.Also, world leaders and climate activists are sounding the clarion call for reversing climate change. They are talking about the detrimental effects of plastic and urging people to avoid using plastic-based products.

Now is the time for us to take positive action and we can start by taking a small step – opting for environmental-friendly products. The time has come to avoid plastic and go for jute. After all, our environment is at stake here. And if we do not take the requisite measure soon, our ecosystems and lifestyle patterns will be adversely affected and that too, in ways that are not reversible.
